Into The Forest

The series "into the forest (Wald und Wiese)" is a personal project, portraying the beauty of forests, investigating the effect is has on our mental well-being and showing the connection between individual trees.

I spent my childhood playing in and roaming the forest... always being aware of the special atmosphere in the woods. Sometimes I felt guarded, sometimes I felt intimidated, but I always felt that I'm entering the house of or a community of living beings.

Therefore, I'm intrigued by the outcome of the latest studies, that trees are able to feel, communicate and support each other.
